Frequency is Freedom?

HSR operates two express services: the 10 B-Line Express and the 20 A-Line Express. Express service makes fewer stops along a route, typically servicing major intersections. The bus can move quicker, getting you to your destination faster.

On the road we've heard things like:

"I wonder if express buses running later into the night would be at all feasible, maybe not as frequent, but say every half hour?"

"Express shuttle buses between suburbs and d/town would be preferred."

"Please consider some commuter friendly rush hour express hubs."

We get it, it's a busy world, you've got places to be, and express service gets you there faster.

The City of Hamilton has a long-range vision for a rapid transit network referred to as the B-L-A-S-T network. The network will connect the east and west ends of the city, link downtown Hamilton to the Waterdown Commercial district, connect the waterfront to Hamilton Airport and also link the Ancaster Meadowlands to the Centre On Barton.

The City of Hamilton is also implementing a 10-year transit strategy with a focus on service reliability and standards for our local transit network.
